With over 10 years of experience in publishing, I am well-equipped to advise new writers and experienced authors who are looking to land an agent, write a proposal, or polish their work for submission to a publishing house. I have experience in genres ranging from adult literary fiction and narrative nonfiction, to memoir, academic, popular fiction, and young adult fiction. My goal as an editor is to help writers identify weaknesses in their prose while capitalizing on their strengths to create the ideal version of every book.

Workshop
I'll help you write query letters, book proposals, and/or book synopses. Send me drafted material or reach out for help getting started.
Developmental Edit
Authors with a complete or near-complete manuscript may submit the full book for me to read and assess. After reading the full work, I’ll write an in-depth analysis pointing to issues and weak spots, as well as noteworthy strengths, and develop recommendations for revision. In addition to an editorial letter, I’ll also return a marked-up version of your manuscript with line edits and marginal comments throughout to help guide your next draft.
Brainstorm
It's my job to help turn nascent ideas into books. Send me an outline or set up a phone call to discuss plot or themes at any stage of writing and I'll help suss things out from plot structure to the book's ultimate marketability and competing titles that have already been published.
